Another week of weathering
It has been a busy run of weathering work across a varied batch of diesel locomotives and rolling stock. The week started with a mixed line-up of diesel locomotives in different conditions and finishes. That is often the most interesting kind of batch, because no two models ask for the same treatment. Some pieces needed only a light operational tone-down. Others called for heavier treatment, with layered dirt, panel variation, and signs of long service. The aim across the whole week stayed the same, to make each model look convincing without hiding the character of the original livery.
